I went to Radnor Lake today and it was cold. I got some stuff down in pencil and colored it at home from memory tonight because my gouache would have froze. I think it was 25 degrees.

This is Brian Meier, of the 2nd Fallschirmjagers at the Watertown WW2 Reenactment. He made a great authentic impression of a tough German soldier!

This guy (Thomas Austin) was at the WW2 reenactment in Watertown. They did a great job with the battle and impressions of the Americans and Germans.

Late afternoon somewhere between Little Falls and Dolgeville NY. I have been using a brand of sketch book called "reflexions" that I bought at Jerry's art supply. It's great for these quickie watercolors and holds up good. It's hard bound and 6x6 with off white paper.
